Why We Disagree!! - Swami Vivekananda

This is a very famous speech delivered by Swami Vivekananda at the parliament of religion held at Chicago, USA. The topic of the speech is "why we Disagree". It was given at a period when we were not born, but has so much meaning and its so inspiring. Each and everyone must listen or read this speech.  Here is a small synopsis from the speech. Its a story about two frogs....

A frog lived in the well. It was born there and grew up in the same well. Due to the abundant food resources such as algae, insects etc., the frog was healthy and fat. On a good day, another frog from a ocean came and fell into the well. The frog from the well inquired the other frog from where it has come. The frog replied that it has come from a ocean. The frog from the well asked if the ocean is as big as its well. The other frog laughed and replied saying that the ocean is very big and it cannot be compared with the well. The frog from the well was very angry and said its a lie and you are a liar, my well is bigger than any other.

Similarly people also think in the same way. Every person whether he is a hindu, christian or a muslim sits in his own little well and thinks that is the whole world.

We need to change our thinking, we need to understand that there is only one world and we need to live and let live in prosperity.

"Appreciate everyone and criticize none"!!
